Bombs have a minimal effect on global warming. The amount of smoke caused and carbon dioxide released is nothing compared to a single car. The amount of effect is increased by the environmental damage a bomb does. Bombs have been blamed for global cooling though. WW1 and WW2 both has cooling during those periods.
The Arctic sea ice, where they live during the winter, is melting earlier every year.
The gas which we can do most to prevent, and the one that is causing the increase in temperatures, is carbon dioxide.
Global warming is not any one single event. A day might be hotter than usual, or even during a period of rapid warming (such as is occurring now), any given day might be cooler than average. Even one year of unusually warm weather, by itself, does not qualify as evidence of global warming. The summer of 2012 in the US was the warmest on record. When compared against the five year average across many decades, a clear warming trend is established. Similarly, we had a couple of fairly cool years in the 1970s. That didn't mean the earth was cooling. But what has the long term trend been? Another example of an effect of global warming is the extent of arctic sea ice. This year it is the smallest ever recorded. That could be significant unless it was offset by gains in Antarctic ice. It wasn't.
The atmosphere would become much smaller and the earth would become much colder during winter and also at night.
Any electricity generated by burning fossil fuels (coal, oil and natural gas) contributes to global warming. Renewable energy does not contribute to global warming (except in a small way during equipment manufacture).Any electricity generated by burning fossil fuels (coal, oil and natural gas) contributes to global warming. no, termites do not cause global warming. global warming is a myth, the holes in the ozone layer are from the us and russia testing Several hundred Nuclear bombs during the cold war
Their feathers fall off.
carbon dioxide.
Akin to global warming, just theories.
More vacationing time during the year.
Because the temperature on the Earth is increased.
nobody
Do it a lot and check if global warming is speeding up.
All the signs were that global warming continued to increase during 2011. It's too early now (Sept 2011) to know the annual temperature, but there were heat waves in many places during the summer, continuing the trend of previous years.
It gets a lot of people hot under the collar. At some point the warming of the planet may become warmer then during the medieval warming period. This would cause sea levels to rise and weather patterns changes around the world. If this ever happens, yes global warming could someday affect you.
Antarctic temperatures have been unaffected by wars, and only slightly by global warming.
