The thicker the cloud the more water it carries, so obviously more water the cooler it gets but during the night the clouds aren't thick so its just cooler in the day sometimes

Stratiform clouds, such as stratus or nimbostratus clouds, form when warm moist air rises over a layer of cool air. As the warm air cools and condenses, it creates a blanket-like cloud layer that can result in overcast or rainy conditions.
Since clouds are cool moist air, and cold air is heavier than warm air, the cloud cover holds down the warmth that accumulates during the day and keeps the ambient temperature slightly higher over night.
When a warm air mass meets a cool air mass, the warm air mass rises because it is less dense than the cool air mass. This rising warm air can lead to the formation of clouds and potentially precipitation as the warm air cools and condenses. This process is known as frontal uplift.
When cold air moves towards warm air, it creates a difference in temperature and pressure. This causes the warm air to rise, cool, and condense into clouds. As the clouds grow, they can lead to rainstorms due to the release of precipitation.
Clouds form when warm air is forced upwards and expands, causing it to cool. This cooling process leads to the condensation of water droplets, which then clump together to form clouds.
No, but during the daytime they sleep, at night, when its cool, then they wake.
The cloud cover helps to keep the heat from the day in, much like an insulating blanket.

It keeps you cool, and heating is to keep you warm.
well... during the day the sun heats up the earth. and when night falls and its cloudy the clouds act like a blanket and keep the heat in better than if it was not cloudy at night. (Just wanted to tell that i didn't think of this someone else did.)
House
clouds form above chimneys as the warm air mixes with the cool air
RAIN
Warm air moves from a beach toward the ocean by convection.

Depends on how 'cool' the place gets. Hedgehogs are warm blooded, so providing them with a blanket to snuggle with will help keep them warm, but if the area you have in mind drops below 30 degrees fahrenheit, it might be a good idea to think of someplace warmer.
Any cotton bedspread is perfect for the summer time and will keep you cool. It will also be nice and warm when get in it at night!
