Burning fossil fuels damages the ozone. The ozone keeps some of the sun's heat out of earth. If the ozone "dies" all the sun's heat will come through, and burn earth into a crispy ball of dirt and water.
ANSWER: That's right! Never mind the fact that our sun has been producing unprecedented levels of X-class solar flares, it's the greedy capitalist and his SUV's. Nevermind that Mars is experiencing Global warming, everybody knows how bad traffic can get on Mars. Never mind that the rise in temperature that has everybody squawking like a bunch of chicken littles amounts to a 1% rise in temperature. Everyday when the sun comes out people experience anywhere from a 30 to 70% increase in warmth and manage to make it through the day with no complaints. But 1 little % over the past one hundred years and suddenly man is a plague upon the Earth. Aren't you still afraid that the predictions about AIDS will finally prove true and heterosexuals will be the new intravenous drug users? Don't you think our cell phones will give us all inoperable cancer and we won't have to worry about global warming? Or maybe you just have an eye on my SUV and you don't like my asking price.
