meteorology. No, not meteorology. Meteorology is the study of weather not the measurement of it. Measuring weather really doesn't have a specific name its simply just called measuring the weather :) Hope this helped! :)

Answer Meteorological observation(s). At least in Australia, a person who does this is called a Meteorological Observer, and it is a specialised field, collecting data for Meteorologists (and others) to work with.

we can measure in lots of different ways heres just a couple of them

. we can measure how wet it is by the amount of rainfall. how warm or cold it is by the temperature. how windy it is by a weather vain. strength of the wind by a beaufort scale.the air pressure by a barometer

Well it depends on how you're measuring the weather and what type of weather you're measuring. If you're measuring a hurricane it can be measured in length(km) or you can measure it by putting it into a catergory of how bad the storm was. It all just depends.
