∙ 14y agoSodium hydroxide is a very strong chemical that is also known as lye and caustic soda. This article discusses poisoning from touching, breathing in (inhaling), or swallowing sodium hydroxide. On contact, sodium hydroxide turns skin into soap; such chemical "burns" are difficult to treat.
Alendronate sodiun tab,can use any age? can use for osteoarthritis?
The best way is to mix it with Hydrogen Chloride (HCl). This acid will react with Sodium Hydroxide (NaOH), which is a base, and the end product will be water (H2O) and table salt (NaCl). This end product can be disposed of in a normal sink. You should flush it down with lots of water, in case you did not get the NaOH/HCl mixture precisely correct; it would then be a very weak acid or base. You have to calculate how much HCl you need to match your quantity of NaOH. This is a standar Chemistry 101 calculation, so ask a high school student if you don't know how to crunch the numbers your self. You can obtain cheap, fairly high concentration HCl from a brick and mortar store, as HCl is used to surface treat cement.
Short answer both ionic and covalent! The bond between the sodium (metal) and phosphate (PO43-) (nonmetal) is ionic. The bonds between the phosphorous (nonmetal) and the oxygen (nonmetal) atoms are all covalent. The trick is to treat a covalent compound (PO43-, CO32-, etc) as grouped together when balancing charges, looking for ionic bonds, etc.
Ethanol and NaBr. The delta negative OH dissociates from Sodium creating an +Na ion. The Bromine withdraws the electron density towards itself leaving the Carbon delta +. This means that the -OH will attack the +C removing -Br.
This is a course offered where a person undergoes wastewater training for designing and managing wastewater treatment and disposal. On a more detailed manner, he is responsible for the design (engineering) of a system to capture and treat wastewater, whether it is runoff, sewage, etc., so the final product is reuseable or redirected.
Most communities treat their waste-water to make it safe to return to the environment.
WASTEWATER TREATMENT What is Wastewater? Wastewater is used water that must be treated before being released into another body of water to prevent additional contamination of water sources. Wastewater is generated in a variety of ways. Wastewater is whatever you flush down the toilet or rinse down the drain. Rainwater and runoff, together with different pollutants, flow through street gutters to a wastewater treatment facility. Agricultural and industrial wastewater can also be a source of wastewater. Some wastewaters are more difficult to treat than others; for example, industrial wastewater can be difficult to treat, whereas domestic wastewater is relatively simple to treat (though treating domestic waste is becoming increasingly difficult due to increased amounts of pharmaceuticals and personal care products found in domestic wastewater). WASTE WATER TREATMENT PLANTS: WHAT DO THEY DO? Both industrial and residential wastewater are treated at wastewater treatment plants, which analyse water samples and remove impurities. To disinfect the water and prepare it for reintroduction to the environment, a number of physical and biological methods are applied. Residential sewage, industrial runoff, and urban stormwater are all examples of wastewater that must be filtered and treated chemically and biologically to remove sludge, oil, grease, bacteria, and other organic and inorganic impurities. Pearl Laboratory supplies provide a wide choice of waste water treatment lab furniture solutions, all of which come with a plethora of extra accessories and are constructed from the highest quality and most durable materials.

Salt is not necessary to treat water. There are many ways to treat water. Salt is not necessary because salt contains sodium. Sodium is good for treating water but is not necessary.
Divalproex sodium is indicated for the treatment of manic episodes
Septic systems are underground wastewater treatment structures, commonly used in rural areas without centralized sewer systems. They use a combination of nature and proven technology to treat wastewater from household Plumbing produced by bathrooms, kitchen drains, and laundry.
Filamentous bacteria is sometimes found in the wastewater treatment system. This bacteria is seen as beneficial, but can be filtered to remove it from the water system.
In hemodialysis, sodium acetate is used to treat acidosis.
