Rather than "permanent" magnets, the large electromagnets used in junkyards only create a magnetic field when electric current flows through them. They are used to lift iron and steel scrap, and to separate it from non-magnetic scrap. The cranes have an electric generator connected to a wire coil in the large round lifting disc. When the power is on, its magnetic field attracts heavy iron and steel to it. When the scrap is positioned where they want it, they cut the power to the electromagnet and the scrap drops.
doesn't damage the cars if being used for something and is easier to pick up securely because with the normal claw grip it is tricky to get a firm hold so there is a safety issue as the car might drop accidentally with a claw grip.
because they are magnets in the scrap yards and the metal picks it up?
Because they are twice as strong as normal magnets and they can carry heavier objects to move.
Hope this helps
To pick up metal junks
Not all fans do need a magnet - there are hand fans, punkah walla fans belt driven fans (as in your car) and Stirling engine fans that I can think of that do not need a magnet. It is only electrically driven fans that require a magnet because they work on the principles of electromagnetism.

Any of the two poles will work. It will induce magnetism in the iron.
A dumbbell shaped magnet is called which type of magnet?
a school bell, the earths core and a junkyard magnet

The junkyard is to the far right on the island, and the crane is at the left side, holding the giant magnet. You have to come up from the right side and get past Crusher, who is (first) stomping and (then) throwing barrels at you. (see the related question)
becouse his father need help at the junkyard
Scrap Heap MagnetUsually the kind of magnet a junkyard uses is an electromagnet. An electromagnet is simply an iron core wrapped around by copper wire. Then current runs through the wire, it becomes a very strong magnet. There are other types, but I think electromagnet is the most common for car scrap heap.
Junkyard Dog was an American professional wrestler and professional football player, best known for his work in Mid-South Wrestling and the World Wrestling Federation as the Junkyard Dog.
A junkyard or recycling center may employ a large magnet crane to move metal objects and scrap. It is an electromagnet : with the power turned on, it attracts the ferrous materials to its metal disk. When the crane has reached the desired location (pile, container, or truck), the power is turned off and the magnetic attraction ceases, dropping the materials.
I think if you put a magnet in a liquid i think it is not going to work again. I think if you put a magnet in a liquid i think it is not going to work again.
look it up on the internet you
Ask a Mormon only they know how they work.
any horn will work from the junkyard.
