The process that occurs during boiling of liquid is energizing of water molecules (H2O) to give them excessive energy for excitement to change their form to gas from liquid. This energy can be provided by heating and electric current.
In the liquid state, atoms and molecules are bound together by strong intermolecular forces as compared to gases. While boiling a liquid we provide heat to the molecules whereby their kinetic energy is enhanced and they now have enough energy to overcome the cohesive forces and escape from the liquid surface hence changing into gas. This process is called evaporation.

∙ 12y agoAn object (such as a stove top), transfers energy in the form of heat to the layer of liquid just above it through conduction. Convection then forces the heated liquid to rise, thereby heating more of the liquid and forcing the cooler liquid to replace it at the bottom. These convective currents are responsible for the roiling action found in a boiling substance.

Because of phase transition ie from solid to liquid during melting and from liquid to vapour during boiling. So just to change over from one phase to the other heat is totally utilized and hence no chance to have a rise in temperature. So temperature remains constant.
Temperature is constant during a phase change.
If you leave water alone, it is in liquid form. If you raise the temperature of water to boiling, it creates steam. Is this a gas? If you lower the temperature to freezing, it becomes a solid.
During boiling the temprature remains constant and as soon as the water is bolied the temprature again rises.
The Boiling Point Temperature is 212 degrees Fahrenheit and 100 degrees Celsius
During boiling of water, water changes its state from liquid to gas due to a change in temperature. Therefore it is a physical change.
The boiling temperature of an element can change by changing the pressure.
At a high temperature (during boiling or frying) the composition of potatoes is modified - a chemical change.
during boiling, the temperature of a mixture is different at different times. during boiling, the temperature of a substance changes at the start then it becomes the same and constant.
The boiling point of sea water is higher compared with pure water. Temperature remain constant during boiling.
