How are polymers made into crude oil?

Polymers are not made into crude oil. Crude oil is composed of a mixture of hydrocarbons that are naturally occurring in the earth's crust. However, polymers can be derived from crude oil through a process called polymerization, where small molecular units (monomers) derived from crude oil are chemically bonded together to form long chains known as polymers.

Which layer of the earth is crude oil found?

Crude oil is found in the Earth's crust, specifically in sedimentary rock formations. It is usually extracted from reservoirs that are thousands of feet below the surface.

How is crude oil brought to the earths surface?

Crude oil is brought to the Earth's surface through drilling wells into underground oil reservoirs. Once a well is drilled, a combination of pressure from the reservoir and assistance from pumps is used to bring the crude oil to the surface for processing and refining.

How long does it take for crude oil to form in the Earth's crust?

Crude oil forms in the Earth's crust over millions of years through the decomposition of organic matter under high pressure and temperature. It typically takes anywhere from 1 to 3 million years for crude oil to form.

How is crude oil brought to the surface of the earth?

Crude oil is brought to the surface of the earth through the process of drilling wells. A drilling rig is used to bore a hole into the earth, and then pumps are used to extract the oil from the reservoir deep underground. The oil is then brought to the surface for further processing and refining.

How do they make oils?

you don't make crude oil. Crude oil is natural oil after it has been sucked up from the earth, before it has been processed

Gasoline and oil come from?

Gasoline is refined from crude oil, and crude oil comes from the earth.

How do they make crude oil?

Crude oil is formed over millions of years when organic matter, such as dead plants and animals, are buried deep underground and subjected to heat and pressure. This process, known as diagenesis, transforms the organic material into hydrocarbons, which make up crude oil. The oil can then be extracted from underground reservoirs using drilling techniques.

Is crude oil the oil you put in cars?

Yes, but they make it into gasoline first. Crude oil is not the oil you put in the crankcase. That is oil that is refined from crude oil and then additives are added.

How long does crude take to form compared to regular oil?

Crude oil is regular oil. It is the raw oil extracted from the earth. It is referred to as crude as it must be refined so its components can be used.

What is the relationship of crude oil and organic chemistry?

The relationship between crude oil and organic chemistry is that they are both natural resources. Crude oil and organic things are natural, from the earth.

What is crude oil also known as?

Crude Oil is hydrocarbon and it is mixture of carbon and hydrogen.

What is an oily liquid that is pumped from the earth?

Crude oil

What oil is used to make plastic?

Crude oil

What is the meaning of refinery of crude oil?

A crude oil refinery is a factory. The factory takes the crude oil, and turns it into useful products, like gasoline.

What two elements make up crude oil?

Carbon and hydrogen are the two main elements that make up crude oil.

Why was crude oil invented?

Crude oil wasn't 'invented' ! It is a natural resource. There is a finite amount of crude oil in the Earth's surface - which will eventually run out... forcing us to use alternatives whether we want to - or not ! !
