Hey,

Green glass in your greenhouse is not the way to go, because you will kill your plants. This is because the plants need the white light that the sun produces. If you use green glass the plants are only going to receive green when naturally they reflect it off instead of absorbing it. When they reflect the green, that is how we see that the plants are a green colour. So if they reflect the green then they are'NT going to receive any nutrients from the sun.

Hope I helped 00

Why is the word green color used in the greenhouse effect?

The "Greenhouse" effect is not referencing the colour green, instead it references the greenhouse, a building erected to allow plants to be grown in a warmer environment. Most greenhouses are built of transparent glass (no colour) and are not green either. The only green associated with the greenhouse building is the colour of the plants inside of them.

How is the inside of a car on a sunny day related to the greenhouse effect?

Heat gets transferred from the window of the car into it. There is so much heat coming in that there is no way the car can keep up with the heat coming in. Trapping the heat. Same thing happens with the green house effect.A:The way a greenhouse works is that the transparent glass is transparent to the wavelengths of the sunlight coming through it, but is not very transparent to the wavelengths of energy trying to radiate back through it. Since we do not see in those wavelengths, the glass looks transparent to us. That is true of a greenhouse where plants are being grown as well as a car with its glass windows. The sunlight coming through the windows pours through easily, but the hot interior of the car radiates the energy back out at a different wavelength where the glass is not transparent. Similarly the greenhouse effect keeps the sun's heat in our atmosphere, preventing it radiating out into space.

What is a glass enclosed garden?

A Greenhouse. Not to be confused with a green-room. However, Snoopdog most likely has a Greenhouse and a Greenroom for his own purpose.

Why does a green house stay warm inside when sunlight passes through its glass?

Sunlight passes through the glass of a greenhouse and heats up the interior surfaces and objects. This heat is then trapped inside the greenhouse due to the glass barrier, preventing it from escaping. This process is known as the greenhouse effect, which allows the greenhouse to stay warm even when it is cold outside.

How are gases in the atmosphere such as carbon dioxide like the glass windows of a green house?

They are not exactly like the glass in a greenhouse, but they have the same effect. Greenhouse gases hold the heat in the atmosphere without letting it escape into space.

What colour is a green house?

If you are talking about the structure in which plants are grown, it will be the color of the frame. I have seen white and green. Otherwise, it is transparent. I know of one particular greenhouse/hothouse business that would spray the glass panes white during the summer to help control the heat.

What's the difference between a glass house and a green house?

What is green house?

A greenhouse is a structure with transparent walls and roof, typically made of glass or plastic, used to grow plants that require controlled climatic conditions. Greenhouses provide a suitable environment for plants to thrive by maintaining warmth and humidity levels conducive for growth. They are commonly used for extending the growing season or cultivating plants that are not native to a particular region.
