Space pollution is basically a man made problem. If we didn't shoot things into orbit, it would not exist.
Space junk is made up of all the little bits and pieces (as well as some big ones) that are used in order to put something into orbit around the earth. This includes: old booster rockets, defunct satellites, old solar arrays, miscellaneous nuts, bolts and tools left behind (or lost by astronaut's).
The main issue is that these items orbit the earth and often encounter functioning satellites in the process, they can damage or cripple a functioning unit if they impact into them (or destabilizing their orbit).
Some of this junk does eventually fall from orbit and burn up on reentering the atmosphere (Skylab etc.).
A very good example of the issues of space junk/ debris is showcased in the movie Gravity.
Technology has provided innovative solutions to reduce pollution, such as cleaner energy sources, improved waste management systems, and more efficient industrial processes. However, the overall impact of technology on pollution is mixed, as advances in technology have also led to increased consumption and production, contributing to pollution levels in other ways. It is important to continue developing and implementing sustainable technologies to address pollution effectively.
Several factors contribute to air pollution, including emissions from vehicles, industry, agriculture, and the burning of fossil fuels. Individual actions and government regulations play a role in reducing air pollution. It is a collective responsibility involving both individuals and industries to address and mitigate the effects of air pollution.
Space pollution is the collection of defunct objects in the space around Earth. It includes everything that can be considered debris, from old satellites, spent rocket stages and rock fragments from erosion and collision.
The concept of the polluter pays is a commonly accepted principle in environmental conservation to make the person responsible for pollution the one to bear the cost of managing its effects. It is most popular in European Community (EC) countries.
The National Pollution Control Commission is a government agency responsible for regulating and overseeing activities related to pollution control in a country. It sets guidelines, monitors pollution levels, enforces regulations, and works towards reducing environmental pollution for the protection of human health and the environment.
Science and technology has raised the living standards and life expectancy of human beings. It is however responsible for pollution and other forms of environmental degradation.
it helps you understand technology, air, space and NASA
Space shuttles do contribute to pollution during their launches, as they release harmful chemicals and greenhouse gases into the atmosphere. However, the impact is relatively small compared to other sources of pollution on Earth. Efforts are being made to develop more efficient and environmentally friendly space travel technology to reduce these emissions.
i think our greedy nature is responsible for the prevention of pollution..
Science invented technology..... technology such as computers are produced in factories.... factories are causes of Air Pollution... Air Pollution Damages Earth..
You are!
The organization responsible for space exploration in the United States is NASA, which stands for the National Aeronautics and Space Administration. Other countries have their own space agencies, such as ESA (European Space Agency) and CNSA (China National Space Administration). Each of these agencies plays a crucial role in advancing space science and technology.
Yes, we do have technology to travel to space.

Oil slicks, deforestation , dumping of solid waste, and dirty water from factories are some of the factors responsible for the pollution of rivers.
