By definition, increasing the density of rocks in the mountains would decrease the elevation of mountains.
However one could try to reason that increasing the density would cause more increase in uplift and and increase in elevation.
Rocks are denser than dirt, and dirt is denser than water
Volcanic rocks are often more resistant to erosion than surrounding rock
it is denser than sedimentary rocks
rocks
they are formed by fault block
Elevation & Slope
Mountains are made of rocks and dirt. They have high, bumpy tops, and they are high in elevation.
Mountains are made of many different rocks. Such as sedimentary, ingenious and metamorphosis rocks.
Rocks are denser than dirt, and dirt is denser than water
they are made of different species of rocks
Ice with rocks in it.
Mafic rocks are denser than felsic rocks because they contain heavier compounds, minerals and other materials, they are ferromagnesian in composition.
Volcanic rocks are often more resistant to erosion than surrounding rock
it is denser than sedimentary rocks
volcanic mountains are mostly associated with igneous rocks and sedimentary rocks at their slopes can be found due to weathering, but mountains such as fold mountains can contain igneous rocks, metarmophic ro cks and even sedimentary rocks at their slopes
Rocks in higher elevation :)!
Sedimentary rocks are formed from the erosion of different material from tops of mountains and hills. Sedimentary rocks are formed by the build up and ensuing consolidation of sediments into different types of rocks.
