yes it is
Yes, hurricanes can cause strong rip tides. The high winds and large waves generated by hurricanes can disrupt the ocean's surface and create powerful currents that flow away from the shore, leading to dangerous rip tides. Swimmers and beachgoers should exercise caution during and after a hurricane to avoid the risk of rip tides.
While hurricanes can cause rip tides. The waves they cause are generally called "storm surge".
Water has the unusal property of expanding, when frozen into ice. Water that seeps into cracks and then freezes, exerts tremendous pressure, which forces the crack open. During a thaw the loose parts will fall out.
To safely remove a rip stuck from clothing, you can start by carefully trimming any loose threads around the rip. Then, use a needle and thread to sew the rip back together, making sure to match the thread color with the fabric. You can also use iron-on patches or fabric glue to reinforce the area. Remember to test any method on a small, inconspicuous area of the fabric first to ensure it doesn't cause damage.
A rip current forms when waves push water towards the shore, causing it to flow back out to sea in a narrow and fast-moving channel. This can occur due to various factors, such as sandbars or underwater topography that funnels the water outwards. Rip currents can be dangerous for swimmers as they pull them away from the shore.
Riprap, also known as rip rap, rip-rap, shot rock, rock armour or rubble, is rock or other material used to armor shorelines, streambeds, bridge abutments, pilings and other shoreline structures against scour, water or ice erosion. It is made from a variety of rock types, commonly granite or limestone, and occasionally concrete rubble from building and paving demolition. It can be used on any waterway or water containment where there is potential for water erosion.
Riprap is also known as rip rap, rock armour, rubble and shot rock. It refers to the rocks and any other concrete materials that can be used to keep the shorelines solid and armored.
Rip rap can last for several decades to over a century, depending on factors such as the size and quality of the rock used, the intensity of wave action and currents, and the maintenance of the structure. Proper installation and regular monitoring can help extend the lifespan of rip rap structures.
rip rap is large rocks, in various sizes, used to control eroision,
the advantages of rip rap are that it absorbs the waves energy and stops longshore drift ( like groynes) the disadvantages are that it costs alot for the granite boulders ( rip rap) to be transported! hope that helps :D

Firstly, they do not sound exactly the same. There is significant difference between modern day pop punk and classic punk in music and subjects. The fact that they tend to look quite similair (although the ramones are not included here- no one has ever looked like the ramones before or since) does not mean they sound similair. But, in short, it is for the exact same reason that fans of rock rip on rap and fans of rap rip on rock. People know what they like, and some people feel the need to discredit anything they do not.

because of stronger hormones and rap music with the dances that say "hey lets rub on each other till one of us is ready to rip the clothes off". i know rock does it to but not as bad as rap.
Rip rap is a pile of large boulders or rocks -- usually placed along a shoreline to help prevent erosing from waves. http://lmgtfy.com/?q=what+is+rip+rap
