That petition has been around for about 21 years in three incarnations, as I understand. All the petitions lack credibility for several reasons. They all share the same weaknesses. 1. The petition was not limited to scientists who are experts in the field. 2. The petition was made available to anyone who claimed to have a B.S. degree or better. 3. No evidence was ever produced that the signatories and their credentials were checked. 4. The older petitions contained falsified names. 5. The petitions claim to show a concensus or strong majority of scientists have doubts about global warming without ever disclosing the number of scientists who failed to respond or disagreed with the petitions. There are many other flaws with the petitions. Here is one "debunking": http://www.skeptic.com/eskeptic/08-11-12

Would scientists say there has been significant warming in the US over the past thirty years?

Scientists strongly disagree about US and global warming! If pollutants cause global warming, strong anti-pollution laws in the US over the last 30 years would deter warming. Yet, events in one country affect all countries, such as bombs and volcanoes that throw dust in the air, droughts with dust storms and winds, and social / farming practices like illegal slash-burning of crops in Indonesia. The ice is melting; we have more violent storms. However, other scientists say the Earth goes through cycles of extreme heat and extreme cold. They say our global temp and weather changes are just part of this overall cycle.

Is Megadeth liberal or conservative?

Megadeth is neither. Megadeth is anti-greed, anti-religious clashing, anti-corruption, anti-terrorism, anti-United Nations, anti-global warming, anti-crime, anti-ruthless murdering, anti-war, anti-killing animals ruthlessly, anti-nuclear obliteration, anti-oppression, anti-poverty, anti-total government control, anti-political machines, pro-peace, pro-solutions, pro-racing, & pro-skydiving. Conservatives & liberals generally agree on all of these, & with Megadeth on all of these. Conservatives & liberals disagree with how to deal with these, & sometimes even the definitions of them. Megadeth's lyrics fortunately don't go too in detail with how to stop each of those. Which is great-because it leaves the lyrics open for translation, & allows fans with all sorts of political beliefs-while allowing Megadeth to still have political lyrics.

An air mass becomes blocked or stable over a region, bring constant hot winds. There was an anti-cyclone that stabilized over Western Europe. This prevented rainfall and brought hot winds for over a week, including during the night. Scientists accept that global warming is adding extra energy to weather events.

What do republicans say on global warming?

Centrists-Republicans, or people who are Republicans in the middle, say we should find market-based ways to help the enviroment.A right-Republican says that other issue such as war, taxes, and other things come before the idea of global warming, but far-right-Republicans believe that global warming is false and is an idea all about money for Democrats to raise taxes, and make people pay more. With this information also comes the understanding that more often than not, Republicans rely on their "gut" for the answers that they are seeking, not on the tiresome and anti-christian indoctrination of the secular educational system. Republicans tend to be less educated than Democrats, and tend to have a higher rate of Christian fundamentalism (gut-feeling).ANSWER:Republicans believe that Global Warming is all fake. ANSWER:Republicans believe that global warming is a naturally occurring cycle just like global cooling is.
