About a thousand years ago was the Medieval Warm Period or Medieval Optimum. History had the development of Norse colonies in Greenland (lots of open fields for growing crops etc.), exploration and whaling off the coast of North America. It is likely that sea ice and glaciers were much reduced from previous years. These endeavors failed as the temperature became colder and the world moved into the Little Ice Age. Like any climate change currents and air flow can make some areas colder than others in the "warm" periods.
It has not exploded in the past 4600 millionyears so it is very unlikely to explode in the next 1000 years.
1000 years
It seems that the Moon recedes from Earth at a rate of 38 mm a year. That makes it 38,000 mm in 1000 years. That's 38 meters.

According to what my Cat dealer informed me of, the 2010 TRV 1000 H2 EFI Arctic Cat has about 77hp. It can show that the TRV 700 H1 EFI is more aggressive from idle, that would be due to a shim to the clutch that Arctic Cat has installed to make the TRV 1000 a smoother ride. "Unshim" the clutch to deliver even more power out of your 1000 TRV.
A millennium is one thousand (1000) years.
