Carbon, Nitrogen, Oxygen, Phosphorus, Sulphur, Selenium, Bromine, Iodine, Fluorine and Chlorine (and Astatine and all of the inert gases). If, for whatever reason, you don't like the idea of including Halogens in the list you could replace them with any of the metalloids such as; Boron, Silicon, Germanium, Arsenic, Antimony, Polonium or Tellerium.
Some non-magnetic metals are: aluminium, platinum, copper, lead.
Metals found in India include iron ore, bauxite, copper, lead, and zinc. Some non-metals found in India are coal, limestone, gypsum, and mica. India is one of the largest producers of metals like iron and steel in the world.
Metals react with non-metals to achieve a stable electron configuration. Metals tend to lose electrons to achieve a full outer shell, while non-metals tend to gain electrons to fill their outer shell. This transfer of electrons between metals and non-metals results in the formation of ionic compounds.
1. they are not good conductors of heat and electricity(except graphite) 2.they are not malleable (cannot be hammered into sheets). 3.they are not ductile(cannot be drawn into wires). 3.they have low densities.
Elements that are classified as non-metals are characterized by a tendency to undergo chemical reactions in which they acquire electrons; this compares to metals which tend to lose electrons. In slightly more technical terms, this means that non-metals are oxidizing agents and metals are reducing agents; when you mix metals and non-metals together, they tend to react with each other, in what is sometimes called a redox reaction (reduction and oxidation). Other than that, non-metals are generally softer (or gaseous) and less shiny than metals are, they generally do not conduct electricity as well as metals do, they do not have the silvery color of metals.
Magnestism in neither a metal or a non metal. Although metals tend to be magnetic while non metals ten not to be
The metals and non-metals have been arranged according to their densities in the periodic table.

Hydrogen, helium, boron, carbon, nitrogen, oxygen, fluorine, neon, phosphorus and sulfur are ten non metals in the order of increasing atomic number.

Most of them do NOT react with water. Only fluorine and to some extend chlorine do. Actually the only good 'water reacting' group of elements is group 1: the alkali metals.

My opinion would be metal. Since non metals are brittle and dull, I disagree with the non-metals.
