In 1961 carbon-12 replaced oxygen as the standard.

∙ 15y agowell i dont know 5 uses for oxogen, but i will tell you what i know, oxgen is used when ever somthing is burnt, to burn somthing 3 things must be present, heat oxogen and a fuel, such as petrol or wood, anything really, oxogen is use in the body so you can live, it is used in a reaction to turn oxogen and glucose in to energy water and corbon dioxide sorry that i cant help frther but i hope this helps you
