We all have personal opinions concerning what our future holds for our planet Earth and what mankind's main challenges will be. But never do we take a moment to think of what the Creator of mankind and our planet Earth has to say about our future.
I would like to take this opportunity to share, what The Bible,(which is a letter from God) has to say, about why our planet is in such a mess.
According to 2 Timothy 3: 16,17 in the New Testament, the Bible is a gift from God and beneficial for our teaching and setting things straight. With this in mind, I will walk you through a few Scriptures that explain why, what and how, our habitat Earth will be.
First of all The first Book of the Bible, Genesis 2: 15-17 explains that the Creator of all things gave our progenetors ( Adam and Eve, a manuel that they had to follow, that would have allowed them to live a healthy life forever on earth.
Genesis chapter 3 is mankind's history, which explains their choice and its consequences. Genesis 3: 1-5 speak about their choice to dismiss God's requirements and Genesis 3: 16-19 explains how our beautiful planet was cursed and filled with the pain that humans have to live with today. Confirmed in Romans 5: 12 in the New Testament , in these words. " Just as through one man sin entered into the world and so death spread to all men because they had all sinned..
The meaning of the word sin is : "Miss the goal" God's purpose was that we live forever in perfect conditions, but humans have missed that goal, because of the disease of imperfection, left by Adam and Eve. As a result, mankind is in a state of alienation from God.
According to 2 Corintians 5: 18, 19 mankind was given the opportunity to reconcile with the owner of our planet., who has the will and the power to undo all the harm that millenniums of human rule have done, due to God's kingdom( government ) to come. Read Daniel 2: 44 and Matthew 6: 9,10.
Reconciliation means going back to God's manuel that was dismissed by our progenitors, Adam and Eve. Jeremiah 10: 23 in the Old Testament reminds us about the fact the " It does not belong to man who is walking even to direct his step".
The Bible is quite clear concerning where our planet is heading to. Read 2 Timothy 3: 1-15 expressed in these words. "It speaks about critical times hard to deal with, because humans will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, disloyal, having no natural affection, not open to any agreement etc... These traits that dominate human society can only lead to disaster. Leaders are unwilling and incapable to negotiate reasonable solutions to problems or to resolve conflicts.
The Bible explais that the whole world is lying in the power of the wicked one. Read 1 John 5: 19 and Revelation 12: 9 explains who is the wicked one in these words. "The original serpent, the one called Devil and Satan, who is misleading the entire inhabited earth. Which is the choice that was made by Adam and Eve confirmed in the first Bood of the Bible in Genesis 3: 1-5.
There are only two influences. God's requirements and solution or our society alienated from God's standards. Psalms 37: 29 is the prophecy made by God for our future. " The righteous will possess the earth, and they will live forever on it".
Our main challenge today is, to take in the knowledge to become a better person and deserve the right to be part of God's purpose for our planet, which is everlasting life on earth that has always been His will. Read 1 Timothy 2: 4,5.
