The Colorado state soil is Seitz which consists of very deep, well drained, coils formed in colluviums or slop alluvium made up of igneous, sedimentary, volcanic rocks. It is located mainly in southwestern and central Colorado. They are well suited to outdoor recreation and the growth of forest-related products in gently sloping areas.
