Lumber is considered to be one of the most prolific forest products. In a rain forest, rain would be a forest product. Forest Product - an item that is manufactured from trees. Forest products can be classified as primary (originating from harvested timber, i.e., lumber, pulp, etc.), or secondary (a by-product of the lumber or pulp process, i.e. furniture, wood-based chemicals, etc. all usable raw materials yielded by the forest including the associated water, fish, game, scenic, historical, recreational and geologic resources A forest product is any material derived from a forest for commercial use, such as lumber, paper, or forage
Forest timber is common myth that the only way to get wood is by logging native forests whereas Plantation timber is another way of obtaining wood and that is by harvesting it from plantations. For more information please visit the link "Plantation vs Forest timber"
Timber extraction is when wood is extracted or taken from a rain forest.
Timber is a product trees. A tree is cut down, sawed into logs of desired lengths, trucked to a sawmill, and cut into timbers of different thicknesses. Ideally, a new tree is planted and the process starts again. Timber is a renewable resource.
A sustainable forest is a (commercial) forest that is being constantly replanted after sections have been felled, and the logs have been sold. The timber can be used for paper making, fencing poles, overlap fencing panels, sawn planks, and many more uses.
Timber
Both, TImber is split into 2 categories : Hardwood and Softwood
Softwood and hardwood.
The rain forest has hardwood and softwood trees. Softwood trees grow all over the world. Pine is a good example of softwood.
timber derived product, as most of the time the timber comes from forest. also food product because people often turn rain forest into farmland.
Softwood.
C16 timber is sawn softwood structural timber which has been treated and strength graded
timber is not a type of tree...it is a reference to trees before they are cut for lumber
softwood trees
Softwood. Softwood is a class of timber that has a loose widely spaced grain such as pine for example, hardwood has a fine closely set grain such as eucalyptus and balsawood.
