I would say, although I have no direct experience here... That meq would mean or the intent is: mg equivalent or milligram equivalent per Liter which, of course, would be "practically" the same as milligram per Liter or mg/L... However, if you're referring to an analysis of data...and, are relying on this data for a business proposition (I would be hesitant, because equivalent is NOT necessarily, the SAME as stating mg/L) And, of course, the equivalent might be a slight change on smaller volumes... However, based on larger volumes this "EQUIVALENT" could turn out to be a substantial DIFFERENCE... <-- good old common sense. Hope this helps!
