What will happen if humans use fossil fuels more rapidly than they are formed?

We'll run out of fossil fuels eventually.

Why is more carbon dioxide entering the atmosphere?

because we have a greater demand for fossil fuels and when you burn fossil fuels a lot of carbon dioxide is released

Nuclear power plants can produce energy more cheaply and with less pollution them plants that use fossil fuels why are there not more nuclear power plants dad plants that burn fossil fuels?

The problem of disposing large amounts of nuclear waste is not resolved.

Why is the burning of fossil fuels concern for scientists?

because when fossil fuels are burned, the fossil fuels are running out more and more and so scientists are trying to figure out a way for fossil fuels to become more of a renewable resourse then a nonrenewable resource so that way we have more of a likely cause that we will have a future use of all the fossil fuel that are about to run out just like an extinct species.

What led people to burn more fossil fuels?

um i think this is it...... We as people on this planet need fossil fuel. We use the fuel to make gas for our cars, to make Why_do_people_burn_fossil_fuelsfor our homes, to run our factories and powerplants. We've been consuming more and more over the years in way more time it takes fossil fuels to make themselves in the ground out of dying and decomposing material. We burn fossil fuels because it is the second most effective way that we know to get energy and the easiest one to transport. Nuclear energy is more effective, but has a stigma attached of it being bad due to a lack of understanding from the general population. Therefore people will generally prefer fossil fuels over nuclear energy.if you want to read more, go here:Why_do_people_burn_fossil_fuels

How does solar energy reduce the use of fossil fuels?

Most countries burn fossil fuels to generate electricity. If they used solar power to generate electricity, thenThey would not have to use so much fossil fuel.Solar Energy itself does not reduce the use of fossil fuels. But the use of solar energy should hopefully reduce the need of fossil fuels to create energy, so therefore the more we can use solar power as an energy source instead of fossil fuels, the more we reduce the use of fossil fuels.

Why are people trying to minimize the use of fossil fuels?

Because the more we burn fossil fuels the more it contributes to negative climate change such as global warming through the greenhouse effect. Fossil fuels are also a in limited supply and so we need to cut back or come up with other solutions.

What is the link between humans and global warming?

The links are deforestation and fossil fuels. When we cut down forests this means that more carbon dioxide is left in the atmosphere where it warms as a greenhouse gas. When we burn fossil fuels we are releasing extra carbon dioxide emissions that have been hidden away underground for millions of years.

Why would importing tomatoes be more damaging to the environment?

transporting tomatoes burn more fossil fuels which causes damage to the environment

What adds to the greenhouse effect?

More greenhouse gases, whenever we burn fossil fuels (coal, oil and natural gas).

How do you stop human impact in Antarctica?

Humans who populate the Earth affect Antarctica, apparently by increasing global warming. Humans can reduce their consumption of fossil fuels and potentially reduce global warming. This answer may be one-sided, but as more and more people become convinced that the science above is accurate, more humans can reduce their consumption of fossil fuels.

How will wind turbines help your environment in the future?

it will mean that there will be more fossil fuels to burn in the future and then the normal electricity to use x
