Which cycle causes earthquake and volcanic activity?

The Carbon Cycles mostly causes all of it. Espicially Plate Tectonics causes most of it all by causing plates to collide, grind, and slide across each other. My number one answer would be plate tectonis, and movement.

What forces shape the land?

The main forces that shape the land are weathering, erosion, tectonic activity, and volcanic activity. Weathering breaks down rocks into smaller particles, erosion transports these particles, tectonic activity causes movements in the Earth's crust that form mountains and valleys, and volcanic activity creates new landforms through the eruption of magma.

What causes volcanic activity to occur?

Volcanic activity occurs when molten rock, called magma, rises to the surface of the Earth through cracks in the crust. This can happen due to the movement of tectonic plates, which can create pressure and heat that forces the magma to erupt as lava, ash, and gases.

What are some common questions about volcanoes?

Common questions about volcanoes include: How do volcanoes form? What causes volcanic eruptions? What are the different types of volcanoes? How do scientists monitor volcanic activity? Are there warning signs before a volcano erupts?

What process occurs when a more dense plate sinks beneath a less dense plate?

This process is called subduction. As the denser plate sinks into the mantle, it causes melting and creates magma that can lead to volcanic activity at the surface. This process is a key driver of plate tectonics and contributes to the formation of mountain ranges and ocean trenches.
