What sorts of things will happen if the earth gets too hot?

Also, more greenhouse gases will be trapped, promoting an even further rise in temperatures, and (potentially) the eventual conditions that will make life unsustainable for human beings.

If that happens, humans will need to stay on earth or possibly go and live in outer space where it is cooler. But that is not likely because we have not discovered how to bring enough oxygen to outer space to live there.
