The problem was first reported in Germany in the 1960's when trees in the Balck Forest were impacted. This would be the year of reporting it. Prior to that cities like London has acidic fogs in the 1800's which would have been "acid precipitation" if it were to be labeled. Similarly the release of SOx from Inco's smelter in Sudbury, Ontario in the the mid-1900s would have produced a similar effect - but again no one was looking of it.
Acid rain is not an episodic event. That means it does not come into an area like a snowstorm, deposit low pH water and leave.
Acid rain is a chronic condition created by ongoing emissions of SOx and NOx by sites burning fossil fuels or refining sulfidic ores.
It was first observed to be impacting forests in Germany in the early 1960's. Prior to this sites like Canada's Inco nickle plant may have been causing acid precipitation for years but nobody knew what to look for.
Acid rain does not depend on seasons except that some times of the year have more precipitation (snow, rain, sleet, hail) than others.

Acid rain is acid rain.
Vegetation is affected by acid rain by coming in contact with the acid rain can kill the plants. Hope this helps. :)

To have acid rain, you first have to have rain. And deserts are kind famous for not having much rain. So yeah, it CAN happen. But places with more rain will get more acid rain.

Whenever there's rain, there's a chance that the rain water is a bit acidic. So yeah, you can get acid rain in tornadoes.
Acidic rain causes chemical weathering to occur. Dissolution in particular.

it occurs in the city of belarumus
Water pollution can occur from burning fossil fuels due to the acid rain. Fossil fuels will pollute the atmosphere which will result into acid rain.
So2 causes acid rain. So we can find sulphuric in nature.
