reflected light is called "reflection" if it is a flat surface like "mirror" if it is a rough surface like "walls" so the light which is bounced back by wall will be called "refraction"

What reflects energy from the sun in the atmosphere?

Water. The actual is Clouds, gases and dust reflects 25% of the incoming sun light. Clouds reflect light back to space. Dust particles and gases reflect light in all directions in a process called scattering. Gas particles scatter shorter wavelengths of visible light (blue and violet), and that is why the sky is blue.

How can clouds send sunlight back into space?

Particles in the clouds reflect light in all directions

What happens when particles and gas molecules in the atmosphere reflect and bend solar rays?

The process of scattering occurs when small particles and gas molecules diffuse part of the incoming solar radiation in random directions without any alteration to the wavelength of the electromagnetic energy. This factor also causes our sky to look blue because this color corresponds to those wavelengths that are best diffused. If scattering did not occur in our atmosphere the daylight sky would be black.

What atmosphere contains electrically charged particles that reflect radio waves?

The ozone layer contains electrical charged particles that reflects radio waves

In which atmosphere layer contains electrically charged particles that reflect radio waves?

The ionosphere - specifically the e-layer

Why is water a magnifier?

because the particles in the water are moving and vibrating faster and and will eventually reflect of the particles in the soapy liquid elecctrons help with this process!

How would the presence of sulphate particles in the atmosphere moderate global warming?

They reflect sunlight into the upper atmosphere to counteract global warming. It would however delay the recovery of the ozone by decades.

Does the release of tiny particles in the atmosphere reflect solar radiation?

Yes, there is usually a slight slowing in global warming after a major volcanic eruption, as the additional particles in the atmosphere reflect some of the sun's heat before it reaches the earth. This is known as the albedo effect, a reflecting. The same thing happens with the white shiny ice of the polar regions, Greenland and glaciers.

Do the light rays reflect in many directions or few on a rough surface?

They are reflected in many directions.

Why does a rough surface reflect light in many directions?

It reflects in different directions because its rough, there is many sides so the light reflects of the sides causing it to reflect in different directions.

What are called dust particles?

You think probable to solid-air suspensions.

Do the light rays reflect in many directions on a rough surface?

No this is not true.
