Helium
Two hydrogen nuclei will fuse to form a deuterium nucleus. This is stable. This fusion can take place only if the temperature is high enough to overcome the Coulomb Barrier.
The deuterium can then fuse with another hydrogen to give "helium-3". That's a helium nucleus with 2 protons and just 1 neutron. From there "helium-4" is formed. That's "regular" helium, with 2 protons and 2 neutrons.
The energy for the reactions to start is provided by the temperature of the surrounds, for example in the core of the Sun.
As a result of these reactions there is a
lot more energy given out than is needed to make the reactions happen.
There are actually other ways that helium can be formed from hydrogen. The main point here is that, overall, a lot of energy is released.
There are probably a number of different ways two helium atoms might fuse, but one of them is the fusion of two helium-3 atoms to produce one helium-4 atom and two free protons (which could be seen as nuclei of hydrogen-1 atoms).
The two nuclei cannot fuse under normal conditions but when super heated they will combine to form Helium and release a tremendous amount of energy, that is the principle behind a fusion reactor only it takes more energy to fuse the atoms than they release.
If two Deuterium are fused then a Helium nuclei is formed.
Helium atom consists of 2 electrons, 2 protons, and 2 neutrons
and a deuterium atom consists of 1 electron, 1 proton and 1 neutron so when they
fuse they form a Helium atom.
Two hydorgen atoms will fusion into 1 dueterium atoms, or 2H. It is 1 Proton, 1 Neutron, and 1 electron. This is a stable atom and it will not emit radaition on it's own.
When hydrogen nuclei fuse to form helium nuclei, energy is released.
When 2 hydrogen atoms combine it forms hydrogen which causes it to lose an electron which I a hugely exothermic reaction of approx 5500 degrees (this is for the suns heat)
2H + 3H --> 4He + n + ~17 MeV

It is a physical change because it has not changed its chemical composition.
The surface of the Earth can be changed by resulting from outer space, like from a meteor strike.
The atmosphere gos through many cycles and changes. The significant gases in our atmosphere have not changed substantially in the past several centuries. The primary gas is still Nitrogen, then Oxygen.
No, the pH is the negative logarithim to base 10 of the Hydrogen Ion concentration.
The reactants of H2O are, of course, Hydrogen and Oxygen, but the chemical equation is not as simple to understand. The chemical equation of water is: H4+O2 ---> 2H2OIt is complicated to understand, but the O has to be changed to O2 in the reactants side due to the H2, which was changed to H4 in order to balance out the equation.
Canadian loonies minted from 1987 to 2011 weigh 7 grams. The coin's composition was changed in 2012 resulting in a reduced weight of 6.2 gm.
The chemical composition is not changed during a physical process.
The atomic number of an element is FIXED it can not normally be changed. However, if the element's atom is struck by an atomic particle or the element is radioactive then the composition of the atoms nucleus can be altered. Changes to the composition of the nucleus can cause a NEW element to be formed or indeed split the atom into two NEW smaller/lighter atoms.
