Monocalcium Phosphate is a leavening agent. Wich is a cooking tool used to rise up the dough, it is used in food such as pancakes, energy powder, cookies, doughnuts, ect. the chemical formula: Ca(H2PO4)2 it is a dough inhancer and perservative. It comes from animal such as cows, or it can come from ground. It also can be made from a chemial reaction. Ther is no health concerns but there is'nt any good bennefits from it, just a fluffy taste. the major transporters are China and Asia. Yes, it does have acid but just citric acid in it. Monocalcium Phosphate is a white powder. Alot of cooking industries use this like McDonald's. They use it in their famous Big Mac Buns.
