In the earth's crust
The mantle, or interior of the Earth is made up of mostly of rocks that have high amounts of silicon and aluminum. There is also an abundance of nickel and iron in the mantle.
Metamorphic rocks that form at over 1500 degrees Celsius include eclogite and granulite. These rocks are typically formed under high temperatures and pressures in the Earth's lower crust or upper mantle. They exhibit unique mineral assemblages and textures due to the extreme conditions under which they were formed.
At a temperature of 600 degrees Celsius and 14 kilobars pressure, basalt metamorphism typically produces minerals such as amphibole, pyroxene, and plagioclase feldspar, resulting in the formation of greenschist or amphibolite facies metamorphic rocks. These minerals form in response to the high temperature and pressure conditions, leading to changes in the original basaltic rock composition.
Basalt when metamorphosed turns to the following rocks: (LEAST PRESSURE AND TEMPERATURE TO THE MOST) + mineralogy -Greenschist-albite, epidote, chlorite -Amphibolite-amphioble, plagioclase feldspar -Granulite-calcium-rich pyroxene and plagioclase feldspar -Eclogite-sodium-rich pyroxene and garnet
Coal is found in various places like underground. It is mainly found in the crust but very rarely found in the mantel.
the source is the magma
The rocks found in the mantle are usually olivine, pyroxenes, spinal structure minerals, and garnet. Some others are peridotite, dunite, and eclogite.
metamorphic
Two reasons: first, peridotite is native to the mantle where as eclogite is formed from the metamorphism of oceanic crust; secondly, eclogite has a much higher density than peridotite and so it sinks to the lower mantle.
Extreme metamorphism of oceanic crustal basalt.
quartzite, slate, gneiss, marlbe, migmitite, amphibolite, serpenrinite, eclogite. that's all i have from my school papers. quartzite, slate, gneiss, marlbe, migmitite, amphibolite, serpenrinite, eclogite. that's all i have from my school papers.

When basalt undergoes metamorphism, it can change into a metamorphic rock called greenstone. Greenstone is a fine-grained metamorphic rock that forms from the alteration of basalt through metamorphic processes like recrystallization and the growth of new minerals.
Rocks that come from the mantle are called mantle rocks. These rocks are typically formed deep within the Earth's mantle and can include peridotite, dunite, and eclogite. Mantle rocks are brought to the surface through processes like volcanic eruptions or tectonic movements.
