It is Mostly In Asia.

Bangladesh probably suffers more from floods than others. China also has destructive floods that cost thousands of lives. On at least two occasions the loss of life has been more than 500 000. The Yellow River has a catchment of about 750 000 km2, and its yellow colour is caused by suspended loess silt particles.

Countrys that have low lying land are usually ones that flood frequentry. Places such as Bangladesh floods often due to monsoons and it being on the river delta of Ganges river. Also 80% of the country is under sea level.

Egypt used to flood anlong the nile, but they put up a dam - the Aswan high dam , so it doesnt really flood anymore. The philipeans also floods because of low lying land.

Hope this helps

This year - 2011 - has seen the worst floods in Australia.

Queensland, the state in the northeast, has borne the brunt of the floods, but there will be huge devastation also in the southern states of New South Wales, Victoria and South Australia as the rain moves south and the water in the flooded rivers heads downstream.
