ice cold
Ice is colder than snow because ice is compacted and has a more organized molecular structure, which allows for better heat retention. Snow, on the other hand, is made up of loosely packed ice crystals with air pockets in between, making it a better insulator and therefore less cold.
makes it colder since the ice that is melting is taking the heat in from the water around it to cause it to melt that is why you put ice in your ice water and it gets colder
An ice age is a period where temperatures are relatively cold, colder than the average temperature on earth. Ice ages generally last hundreds, thousands, or millions of years. Shorter periods of colder than normal temperatures are usually refered to as cold trends.
The Antarctic regions are about 30 degrees F. colder than the Arctic regions, because of the Antarctic continent, the land mass that makes up about 10% of the earth's surface. This land mass and the ice that sits on top of it retains the cold better than the Arctic seas, which can warm, because the sun melts the ice and then warms the water. The Antarctic, on average.
Cold air, being more compacted in it's gaseous molecules, is heavier than warmer air, so it sinks.
ice cold
when something is cold it is at a low temperature but when something is icy it is covered with ice.
it is cold water!
Ice, breeze, and a cold cold day
It is colder than a ice cube
An easy way to make water cold is to put it in the refrigerator. If this is not possible, adding colder water would make water colder. Actually, adding ice would make this process faster, as it is colder than cold water. And dry ice would make it cold even faster than ice (but dry ice is dangerous- be careful).
The water would have to be colder than the ice to keep it cold. That is not possible unless it is brine(salt water). Then ice at 32f could be cooled by brine at say 30f.
The ice, which is colder than the lemonade, absorbs heat from it as it warms and melts.
I think ice cream melts before ice does. Ice is colder and harder than ice cream. Ice cream is softer and less cold.
well, the ice in it would melt, and the water would get warmer if it was in a hot climate,(a temperature warmer than the ice water) and if it was in a cold climate, (a temperature colder than the ice water) it would freeze or get colder.
I think it has something 2 do with friction of 2 same materials i am really not sure! i think this is because cold on cold is going to make it even colder.
becuse its colder
