∙ 14y agoThere are numerous organizations and individuals involved in tracking earthquakes. There are freely available networks of seismic data provided primarily through universities, private companies, and government organizations.
One of the better known organizations involved in reporting things like seismic events and hazard maps is the United States Geological Survey. This is not however their sole function, nor is it exclusive to the USGS.
