The United States Geological Survey monitors worldwide seismic activity.
Earthquakes are rated along the Richter scale. The Richter scale was invented by a seismologist, Dr. Charles Richter, and is a measure of the largest seismic wave recorded on a particular kind of seismograph located 62 miles from the epicenter of the earthquake.
There are numerous organizations and individuals involved in tracking earthquakes. There are freely available networks of seismic data provided primarily through universities, private companies, and government organizations.
One of the better known organizations involved in reporting things like seismic events and hazard maps is the United States Geological Survey. This is not however their sole function, nor is it exclusive to the USGS.
A seismologist is the scientist responsible for measuring earthquakes.
yes it is possible if u have the right machinery. the point is there are huge earthquakes around the world which ppl need to track so they can evacuate huge amounts of ppl from the area
They are known as seismologists.
seismologist
A seismologist.
yes i do
The precautionary measures to be done in typhoons are check and clean community drainage system to prevent flood. Evacuate the place during fires and during earthquakes.
Richter scale measures the magnitude of earthquakes.
Yes it does. The Richter Scale measures intensity for earthquakes!!
A seismometer / seismograph.A seismograph measures and records the waves generated by earthquakes and similar seismic events.
Mercalli (which measures how many buildings are knocked down by the earthquake)
Geologists engage in the study of earthquakes.
it measures the size of earthquakes
It measures an Earthquakes intensity
Measures the magnitude of earthquakes.:)
It measures size and strength of the earth when earthquakes happen...
A seismologist is the scientist responsible for measuring earthquakes.
The rIchter scale measures the damage level of an earthquake
A seismograph.
The precautionary measures to be done in typhoons are check and clean community drainage system to prevent flood. Evacuate the place during fires and during earthquakes.
Richter scale measures the magnitude of earthquakes.
Yes it does. The Richter Scale measures intensity for earthquakes!!
Assuming you mean 'seismogram' - it's a printout from a seismometer... which is an instrument that measures earthquakes.
