We probably will never know the answer to this question from a scientific point of view, since the emergence of "modern" human beings occurred at least 195,000 years ago in eastern Africa. This has been confirmed by both fossil discoveries and DNA studies on today's humans. This time is so far back into prehistory that it is highly unlikely that we will ever be able to identify the first person on any scientific basis. Various cultural and religious mythologies convey "first man" and "first woman" stories, which are most likely allegorical rather than historical. However, belief in these stories is widespread, and they provide a basis for many people to identify with their cultural and religious origins.

Biblical Opinion

While the first person on earth was in the garden of Eden, it is also so that after the flood this would certainly have not existed. The names that Noah gave to rivers post-flood were unlikely to be the same ones pre-flood since they would have been covered by much sediment. He merely would have used the same names to give a sense of familiarity to what would have been a vastly different world. The conclusion this leads to is that we simply cannot know where this was geographically, even though many have asserted it to be in the middle-east somewhere.

Christians believe though the first person or people on Earth would be Adam (and Eve). The first spirit would be God. If you are looking for a scientific answer however you will be lucky to find one as I have looked and like me, they all agree there is no definite answer. Theoretically, it would be a caveman though, evolving from the mammal. Hope this Helps.
