∙ 15y agoWell there are actually alot of larger astroids in our solar system, but do to their size, they may move slower or may need more force ro move them around our solars system, because of this they do not appear often unlike smaller atroids which move easily and are more abundent than larger astroids.

∙ 15y agoSmall asteroids are more abundant because they are remnants of collisions between larger asteroids, which break them into smaller pieces. Very large asteroids are more rare because they have either absorbed or ejected most smaller bodies in their vicinity, resulting in fewer large asteroids in the solar system.
Yes, watersheds can vary in size depending on factors such as topography, climate, and human activity. Watersheds can range from small ones that cover only a few square miles to large ones that encompass thousands of square miles. The size of a watershed is determined by the area of land that drains into a specific water body or watercourse.
Yes, earthquakes typically do not have warning signs. However, some animals may exhibit unusual behavior before an earthquake occurs, and early warning systems have been developed in some regions to provide a few seconds to minutes of warning before the shaking begins.
The process that converts large alkanes to small alkanes and alkenes is called cracking. This process involves breaking down the larger hydrocarbon molecules into smaller, more valuable ones through the application of heat and sometimes a catalyst. Cracking is an important step in the production of gasoline and other valuable fuels.
Greece experiences many earthquakes each year, ranging from small tremors to larger, more destructive ones. The frequency of earthquakes varies throughout different regions of the country.
No, melted rock that cools quickly will result in igneous rock with small mineral crystals, because there is not enough time for the crystals to grow larger. Igneous rocks with large mineral crystals usually form from slowly cooled magma deep beneath the Earth's surface.
No. Many asteroids, including a variety of extremely large ones, do, however, originate from Uranus.
No, asteroid near misses can vary in size. Some near misses involve small asteroids that burn up in the atmosphere, while others may involve larger asteroids that pass by Earth at a safe distance. It is important for scientists to monitor and track all potentially hazardous asteroids to assess their risk.
You may be referring to asteroids, which are small rocky or icy bodies which orbit the Sun. There are many thousands of asteroids, most of which orbit between Mars and Jupiter. Most of the asteroids are too small to see, but a few of the larger ones are visible without a telescope.

Asteroids, even very large ones, actually come close to earth regularly and cause no harm and no effect on life on earth. The concern would be a large asteroid crashing into the earth.
The small ones have 153 teeth, the large ones are 168.
The entire atmosphere will burn up small asteroids (meteors), but larger ones will strike the Earth. This is how the Caribbean Sea was created.
Most of the time they are relatively small, but sometimes you get larger ones that definitly beat out plants.
The small planets are the ones smaller than 8000 miles in diameter. The large planets are the large ones larger than 30,000 miles in diameter.
Lysomes are small, round structures in cells that break down large food particles into smaller ones.

It all really depends on the size of the water balloon and your aim. Good aim, and large water balloons? Four or five should do the trick. Good aim, and small water balloons? Double how many it took with large water balloons. Well, you can see where I'm going from here. (:
