It is the sounds of silence....nahhhhh but seriously you don't have any problems. It is normal to hear a high pitched sound. If it bothers you then you can consult with an ear-nose-throat doctor but I am pretty sure they will tell you to just ignore it. There is nothing wrong with you. Think of it this way, if you didn't hear the sound then you must not be alive! LOL Seriously though, nothing to worry about. You might want to go to www.webmd.com and research tinnitus. It is a ringing of the ear condition. It is a condition that is usually nothing to be concerned about. Relax and stop worrying !
If you listen to a lot of music of have loud surrounding, the little hairs/nerves in your eardrum can die. The high pitch noise can mean one of those nerves is dying.
i listen to a lot of music n my ears buzz sometimes... its so annoying
piercing and high-pitched in sound answers.com is the best way to show and answer your question and she is correct
because sound travels slower than light, the you are to the lightning the sooner you hear the thunder..
you hear the sound of birds and the rain falling on the leaves
In an action in whitch the air is basicly "pumped" creating vibrations in the air known as "sound waves" through slower vibrations, low-pitched sound is created, keeping in mind that slower doesnt nessisarily mean quieter. The volume has to to with the depth of the sound waves (distance between the highst and lowest points), and the speed affects pitch. So a tall tight sound wave is going to be high pitch and loud, and a short tight sound wave will be the same pitch, just quiter. That all being said a low pitched sound wave will be more spread out rather than tight like sardeines. Two examples of mediums that create a low pitch sound waves are a sub-woofer and a bass drum, that essentially vibrates the air.
Because the rate of change in the pressure in the air differs: high pitch has a rapid vibration, low pitch a slow vibration. Humans can usually hear from a low of 20 Hz (cycles per second) to 20,000 Hz. I'm so old that I do not hear much above 12,000 Hz any more.
Not to low, to high. Like a high pitched sound that only dogs care hear, like a dog whistle.
Anything you hit makes a vibration. Vibration=Sound. I guess it depends how hard you hit the object (in this case metal) you will be able to hear the sound. But yes, they do make a high pitched sound when you hit them (some so high pitched you will never be able to hear them).
First you will hear a medium-high pitched beep noise and then a quiet Fanfare note
Sai pump
Adults cannot hear if there is a very high pitched ringing sound, but kids can hear it. +++ Sort of. Some adults may be able to hear the same high-pitched sounds as children. More accurately, the healthy ear can detect sound up to about 20kHz, but age and long-term noise exposure reduce the maximum an individual can hear.
Because children can hear higher frequencies, and a bat sound is usually very high pitched. A child may also not be able to hear it, if the bat has a particularly high voice. In theory, children can hear a maximum high pitch of 20,000Hz. This is only if the child's hearing is perfect, which, in most cases, it isn't. Basically, what I'm trying to say, is that as you get older, your ability to hear high pitched sound gets worse.
high pitched better not
A lower-pitched sound has a higher frequency than a high-pitched sound.
Bats. They are blind and use echolocation to navigate when they are flying. They emit high pitched sounds humans ears are unable to hear. The sound frequency in a human voice is too low pitched for them to hear.
No, you have problems to hear the TV when you have listened too loudly and too much to your ear phones. mostly most people cant, but i can and nobody believes that i hear high pitched sounds that other people cant hear...so ur not alone
If the high frequency sound is within hearing range, you can hear it as a high-pitched sound. If it's out of the hearing range you can't hear it, of course.
It's been said that they do when they are hurt or threatened, but the sound is too high pitched to hear.
