To get an open circuit to work and light a light bulb, turn the switch on. Or hardwire it to power up the lamp. If the battey or other power source is good, and so is the lamp, make sure all the connections are good and that the conductor (wire) isn't broken. With all the components in good shape and properly connected, the light should be glowing.
we have science project-make a battery using graphite instead of manganese oxide. we have all the required components including salt, water and flour and we also followed the right procedure. we checked it in a multi tester if it contains electricity and it does! its actually almost 1.5! BUt the problem is..... we have tried lighting a bulb already like almost 10 times but it still wont work!!!!!!!!!
