Consider the fact that the Daintree runs into the Great Barrier Reef. Animals and plants also depend on each other. Recently, a species of tree in the red cedar family disappeared when an owner cleared a plot of land, which highlights the vulnerability of the rainforest. 400 00 people visit the Daintree Rainforest each year and although people know about their imapact on the environment, not many consider how to reduce their footprint.
