Because the Philippines are located on the boundary between the pacific and philippine plates of the earth's crust. It's a very complex region, but it's largely a convergent boundary, meaning one section is moving towards and under the other, forcing the continental plate up. The oceanic plate melts and magma is forced up through weak places.
yes Hawaii has a volcano and one of them is called Mona loe it is the widest volcano in Hawaii or in the world that is my opinion, you could do some research about it if u have a project that could be about physical and human wonders, well in my opinion i think Blenheim palace, aurora lights, and Kare Kare falls is a wonder from there natural view and beauty except Blenheim palace!
The Pacific Northwest region, specifically the states of Washington, Oregon, and northern California, has the greatest risk of volcano damage in North America. This area is home to several active volcanoes, such as Mount St. Helens and Mount Rainier, which have the potential to cause widespread destruction in the event of an eruption.
It's simple, our moon doesn't have Volcano's.WRIGHT ANSWER: the moon has volcano's and i think theirs 4 I'm not shure but it dose 4 shure but the moons volcano's don't have lava in them they have rocks and minerals and their magnetism is very high like super high
I think gold is the most abundant mineral in the Philippines The Philippines considered as one of the countries most endowed with metallic resources in the world, ranks in the top 6 for gold, nickel, copper and chromite and has the potential to be top 10 largest mining power in the world.
Certainly. Volcanoes are beautiful natural phenomenons, but they are also dangerous. However, I think that as long as you don't live nearby, you should be relatively safe in bed knowing a volcano is not going to explode five miles away.
I dont think so I think it all depends on the volcano.
the UK does have volcanoes but they arn't active
I really think Canada, Singapore and Malaysia are the countries have not volcanoes. Is That Right?
Yes, 13. Check out the link for more info.
There are exactly 1496 active volcanoes right now in the world, but the number keeps increasing 1-2 every year. 2 of them just exploded yesterday- Mt. Fujiyama and Mt. Kilimanjaro.there are 71500 600 above and 900under land
"Volcanoes of the World" by Tom Simkin and Lee Seibert, lists 22 volcanoes in El Salvador.
hmmm i think because its not located on the edge of a continental shelf?? I'm not really sure
I think any volcano is potentially dangerous. It was once thought that volcanoes were extinct but now scientist think volcanoes are active or dormant. So any volcanoe could erupt and be dangerous. Some are more likely to than others.

With some exceptions, volcanoes are generally not dangerous to people. Your chance of being killed by a volcano is 1 in 80000 over your lifetime, which is far less than your chance of being killed in say a motor vehicle accident (1 in 67). There are also two classifications for inactive volcano's. Volcanoes which have not erupted for a significant amount of time are known as dormant volcanoes. Volcanoes which have not erupted in human history are known as extinct volcanoes. Extinct volcanoes are never expected to erupt again, and are therefore not dangerous unless they have been misclassified. So no, I do not think that all volcanoes whether active or inactive are dangerous. The only dangerous volcanoes are dormant volcanoes that explode suddenly with little or no warning.
There are volcaones in California now and there were before too. There are six active volcanoes in California, however there are many dormant (asleep) volcanoes in California too. It is known to have many volcanoes in the Pacific Region Because it is in the Pacific Ring of Fire
