The cobalt pallets in the cell are not cheap to produce!Serving the water filters on cars has to be doen by dealers only, ware as the home units can be serviced easily like that of home reverse cosmoses unit. They can not be bought, but are under lease only to public. Home units are controled by the Edison Group=under lease only!
Hydrogen may be promising by the fact that it only produces water vapor when consumed as fuel. It is also one of the most prevalent resources on our planet at the moment so their is no shortage of it for us to use. However there is only one problem with hydrogen though. With our current technology, it takes way more energy to make hydrogen then hydrogen will generate when used as fuel.
The only byproduct of using pure hydrogen as a fuel is water, often in vapor form.
yes because it does not pollute the air and can help keep the seas from being overflowed from melting ice caps and/or glaciers. it also will slow down the death of the human race, or otherwise known as extinction
Hydrogen gas cannot be directly installed in a carburetor designed for liquid fuel. However, hydrogen can be used as a fuel source in a hydrogen fuel cell vehicle, where it reacts with oxygen to produce electricity that powers the vehicle's electric motor.
Yes, the only byproduct of hydrogen is water.
It is hydrogen.
They are too expensive and are hard to find.
The Honda Clarity cost $300,000 each, but hydrogen fuel cells are expensive to produce and some are fragile.
Possibly. Hydrogen car cost more then hybrid cars. But as of today, those cars are possibly in development.
Hydrogen Energy is currently more expensive than any other fuel source, there is also no existing infrastructure to accommodate a Hydrogen fuel cell. The process for extracting Hydrogen to be used also usually requires the use of burning fossil fuels, thus creating pollution. Then there is the fact Hydrogen is both hard to store and distribute.
There are two problems with hydrogen fuel cells. One is that the cars that run off of hydrogen fuel cells are very expensive to make another thing is that hydrogen storage is not easy. The work and money it would take to put up hydrogen stations around the country for cars is too much to even consider it. Also another problem with hydrogen is te oil companies that don't wanna lose their business.
Because its not a regular fuel and it is not a fuel also water in now a days so it very expensive
no hydrogen is not affected by the sun because hydrogen can be combined with helium it creates a fuel source but it is not affected by hydrogen by it self so no hydrogen is not affected by the sun
Some pros of fuel cells are that it is: -efficient -produces no odor, no noise -reliable -environmentally friendly -is indefinetely renewable, as long as hydrogen is harvested Some cons of fuel cells are: - fuel cells are expensive -you have to harvest hydrogen, which is hard -The volume of the fuel cells are larger than the average internal combustion engine.
Hydrogen fuel cells are very expensive to build. They cannot operate below freezing. They require a large storage container. There is no infrastructure for refueling.
combustion of fuel needs O2 so hydrogen fuel cell's combustion formula is: 2 H2 + O2 --> 2 H2O the product (waste) is water molecule
Hydrogen could be an excellent fuel for automobiles. The unfortunate part though is that hydrogen is currently made through the stripping of natural gas, so hydrogen would still be using fossil fuels with our current technology.
