this is so bcoz

even if cabonate conditioning forms soft scale , but it is a SCALE

phosphate conditioning forms soft sludge , which can be removed by blow down operation . so its better than carbonate condiitoning

Which one is better fertilizer-super phosphate or triple super phosphate?

Triple super phosphate is generally more effective, as it has higher phosphorous (P) levels. However if you need to raise the level of sulphur (S) in your soil you may be better off with normal super, as it has higher S levels. Also, keep in mind that triple super is usually more expensive.

Why does green copper carbonate go black?

Because it undergoes thermal decomposition. If you give heat to Copper (II) carbonate, it will decompose to form Copper (II) oxide. Instead of saying green copper carbonate, I guess it is safer and better to say copper (II) carbonate.

Sodium carbonate and cobalt ii nitrate?

When sodium carbonate reacts with cobalt II nitrate, cobalt II carbonate and sodium nitrate are formed. The balanced chemical equation for this reaction is: Na2CO3 + Co(NO3)2 -> CoCO3 + 2NaNO3. Both products are soluble in water.

Is phosphate remover necessary in swimming pools with phosphate levels?

If you have a high phospate level in your pool it tends to make it more prone to algae attack,so if can lower it by all means lower it. The less phosphates the better. Go to JacksMagic.com and read Dr. Neil Lowry's article on phosphates and you will know more than about them than 90% of pool "professionals."

What would be a better alternative to zinc sulphate as a primary standard for EDTA?

A better alternative to zinc sulfate as a primary standard for EDTA titrations is typically disodium hydrogen phosphate dihydrate (Na2HPO4∙2H2O), also known as disodium phosphate. This compound is preferred due to its higher purity, stability, and lower tendency to form complexes with EDTA compared to zinc sulfate.

What are the differences between tripotassium phosphate and trisodium phosphate in terms of their chemical properties and applications?

Tripotassium phosphate and trisodium phosphate are both types of phosphates, but they have different chemical properties and applications. Tripotassium phosphate is a compound made up of three potassium ions and one phosphate ion, while trisodium phosphate is made up of three sodium ions and one phosphate ion. In terms of chemical properties, tripotassium phosphate is more soluble in water compared to trisodium phosphate. This means that tripotassium phosphate is better suited for applications where a highly soluble phosphate is needed, such as in food processing and as a fertilizer additive. Trisodium phosphate, on the other hand, is often used as a cleaning agent and in water treatment due to its ability to remove stains and scale buildup. Overall, tripotassium phosphate and trisodium phosphate have different chemical properties and applications based on their solubility and specific uses in various industries.
