i would say who in the world would be stupid enough to even bring a toaster into their bathroom? but if by any chance you did, i would say, dry it off, and put it in a room where there's a window open, so it gets a chance to dry off, inside and out. but if that still doesn't work, it should be fine, i mean it's just a toaster so i guess it just depends how far you dropped it from, how long it was in the water, and how deep the water was!! :) good luck!!
There is the potential of harm. It depends on whether any part of your body is in contact with any metal parts of the toaster when it comes in contact with the water. Dropping suggests that the person holding the toaster has let it go and is therefore not in direct contact with the toaster. What will likely happen is that the toaster will short out and blow the circuit it is plugged in to.
