What would happen to the carbon dioxide level in the atmosphere if there were less plants and trees?

Trees and plants take in Carbon Dioxide and in turn breathes out oxygen. If there was no plants and trees we would die. The whole of the world depends on plants and trees. Not meaning to sound like a tree-hugger, but don't cut down trees...plant them!

How is forest ecosystem affected when trees are cut down?

When trees are cut down in a forest ecosystem, it can disrupt the balance and biodiversity of the ecosystem. It can lead to habitat loss for wildlife, soil erosion, changes in water cycles, and loss of carbon storage capacity. It can also impact other species dependent on the trees for food or shelter.

How a squirrel population would be affected is a pine forest that had been cut down grew again?

If a pine forest that had been cut down were to regrow, the squirrel population would likely benefit as they rely on the trees for shelter and food sources such as pine seeds. The newly regrown forest would provide more habitats and resources for the squirrels, leading to an increase in their population.

The trees in a rainforest start to die This would affect the animals and other plants of the rainforest because it would increase?

if the trees in the rain forest died there would be more sunlight because the trees wouldn't be there to block the sunlight...........even though it would increase sunlight it would also lead to environmental issues

What will happen if we don't conserve resources?

The things that grow out of the ground would be gone, are cows, pigs, and fish, basically all our animals would be gone so we would have absolutely no food or water left because the water would be all green and the food would have died in some way. Where we live would smell bad and there would be dead animals all over the place. So what I'm saying is eventually we would die.

Do monkeys die if you cut down trees?

Monkeys will not all die if you cut down trees; however, some may die due to natural selection while the rest will adapt to the new conditions. If all trees were to be cut down at a fast rate, then it is highly possible that monkeys will go extinct.

They would DIE!

What happens to the atmosphere after trees have been cut down and why is this a cause for concern?

If the trees would be cut down to the roots and there was no green life we would have no oxygen because plants take in the carbon dioxide that we breathe out and turn it into oxygen this process is called 'Photosynthesis' the concern is we would all die if there was no plants

What would happen to all living things if there were no trees?

We would all die cause trees give us oxygen and carbon dioxide.

What can you do about all of the trees being cut down?

Do trees die if they are cut down?

no if they are cut down they will eventually grow again

If all the trees got cut down what would be the carbon dioxide levels be?

If all trees were cut down, the carbon dioxide levels would likely increase significantly. Trees absorb carbon dioxide and release oxygen during photosynthesis, so their removal would disrupt this balance, leading to higher carbon dioxide concentrations in the atmosphere. This rise in carbon dioxide could contribute to global warming and climate change.

Where would the animals that live in trees go when people cut down their habitat?

they would either have to adapt to low ground ... or die.
