Actually no...your too late to file for the Stimulus check (as all the news reports and papers were advising you back in November)...but, under certain circumstances you may qualify with your 2008 tax return filing.
There's no actual cut off date to receive the stimulus check, however, if you have yet to file for 2007, just go ahead and do so before filing 2008.
When filing your 2008 tax return, you will provide information as to how much you received in 2008 in the form of the rebate. For those who are not sure, you can go here to find out how much they received to enter into their 2008 tax return:

Any stimulus payments you are due will be sent to you this year.
Can you still get if you have not file for more then 8 years
Yes, you should get a stimulus check. Wait six weeks from the mailing of your return; then, if you haven't heard anything, contact the IRS at 800-829-1040 to inquire.
Pretty sure the only requirement to get the stimulus check is you have to file taxes for last year 2007.
Anyone making less than $3,000.00 in 2007 is not eligible for a stimulus check. Also, the economic stimulus law allows Social Security recipients and recipients of certain veterans' benefits and Railroad Retirement benefits to count those benefits towards the qualifying income requirement of $3,000. Supplemental Security Income (SSI) does not count as qualifying income for the stimulus payment.
No, you won't. But I don't know if this is based on 2007 tax return or 2006. Anyone??
Probably not..first off, if your finalized, it's pretty much a done deal.Your refund this year was for income and taxes you had withheld last year...which were prepetition. You could have had all your income withheld....and delayed on filing your return till a year from now...it wouldn't change that the refund is an overpayment of withholding from earning from before you filed...that would have otherwise been able to be used to pay your debtors. This stimulus check...while what the heck it actually is may not be terribly clear....it's easier to say it is just an early refund of your 2008 filing...and hence POST petition.
If you filed an income tax form for 2007, you will get a stimulus check if you qualify. There is no form to file.

If you still owe whomever offset the 2007 refund, then they will also take your stimulus check.
Sure. Most people can get their 2007 refunds until April 15, 2011. But it is too late to get the stimulus check based on your 2007 tax return that was mailed in 2008. If you did not get your stimulus check, you have a second chance to get a stimulus check based on your 2008 return which you are filing in 2009.

i think if you don't owe taxes for 2007,but owe taxes on prior years you should still get a stimulus check as long as you are making monthly payments on what you owe.
If you mean the stimulus payment, no. It is based on your timely filed 2007 tax return.
If I owe back child support money, will the IRS hold my refund or delay my refund? Yes. The Bureau of Fiscal Service (BFS) might delay or offset your refund to pay your debt. For child support tax refund concerns, contact your debt agency to determine if it submitted your tax debt for a tax refund debt offset.
Yes, you still can get the $600 stimulus payment for your 2007 income tax return. Form 1040X is Amended U.S. Individual Income Tax Return. Filing an amended return usually doesn't affect the stimulus payment. If the IRS receives your Form 1040X before issuing your stimulus payment, then your stimulus payment will be issued after your Form 1040X has been processed. For more information, go to www.irs.gov/newsroom for the article, 'Economic Stimulus Payment Q&As'.
Yes...it sounds as if your in complete compliance with an agreed payment plan. You lose nothing (except perhaps the slight added cost/interest change) for being on one.
