∙ 11y agoThe rebate is based on 2006 taxes (filed by 4/15/2007). The rebate will not be issued until AFTER this years tax deadline of 4/15/2008. If you still owe after that and have not filed for an extention, I'm not sure.
AnswerThe stimulus check is based on your 2007 taxes, not 2006.
If you owe money to the IRS you will not receive your check. It will be applied to your balance due to the IRS.
