Japan is not in the European Union.
Yes. It has elections in which all citizens of voting age can vote, and they elect public representatives into local and national structures. It also has an Emperor, but he now has no legislative powers. He is mostly a figure head, like the Queen of England. The Japanese have a prime minister, and two houses in their legislative body.
Japan. Japan has one of the strongest economies in the world.
Inflation in Japan is negative, Japan had deflation. Meaning the cost of everything is falling, rather than increasing.
Japan uses yen.
No, anime has a very distinctive look that Homestuck does not have, anime also is generally reserved for animation that has come out of Japan or another area of Asia while Homestuck is western. While Homestuck has had influence from anime, it is not in and of itself anime.
anime was created in Japan
Well anime is the Japanese abbreviated pronunciation of "animation." Anime is what you call cartoons from Japan.
Anime is short for animation.
Anime Originated From The Japanese. (Japan =) )
Seiko Anime is located in Japan where anime originates. Although anime has gained a little interest in the United States, it is nowhere near the popularity it still has in Japan.
Japan, along with the rest of that section of Asia (Taiwan, china) have always been into manga, as it is a traditional way of story-telling with pictures in their culture. However, I always have and will think of Japan as the home of Manga and Anime, as it is probably the main distributor, offering whole shops and television channels to the art. I feel that Japan, as a country, has had a huge influence on anime, with their devoted fan-bases and dedicated manga creators. Japan is a country, very easy to relate with anime, as Japan has many different festivals and traditions that come over beautifully in anime, exciting watchers and readers from all over the world. I hope this helps, Kaitsurinu chi x
Japan For Sure! I know this because 1.I love anime 2.i live in japan!!!

Yes, anime is the Japanese abbreviated pronunciation of animation.
Anime comes from japan, it's popularity is immense. How can it be looked down upon there?
Baka >_> Anime is originally from Japan. You can look it up on the internet. Anime - Japanese animated movie a.k.a. cartoon! And to top it all of, it always says Japanese series or something similar to that. And the artists of all anime like Naruto, Inuyasha, DBZ ect. are from JAPAN! [I <3 Japan x3] japan, japan, japan...anyway, you can tell the difference between Japanese and Chinese language immediatelly...they're completely different, so telling what anime is from japan and what from china, won't really be a problem for those who watch anime regulary ^^Yes and there are more than just Japanese anime as well...but Anime is originally from japan yet it is based off of Disney which is kinda weird...-.-"
