The U.S. economy transitioned to a wartime economy during World War II through the mobilization of industrial production and the reallocation of resources. The government established agencies like the War Production Board to oversee the conversion of civilian industries into wartime production, prioritizing materials needed for the military. This included ramping up the manufacturing of weapons, vehicles, and supplies while implementing rationing and price controls to manage consumer goods. Additionally, the workforce expanded dramatically as millions of Americans, including women and minorities, joined the labor force to support the war effort.
Creating more industries was what ultimately led to recovery of the US economy following the Great Depression. This meant that there was a high production capacity with millions of people working.
Large scale industries Large scale industries refers to those industries which require huge infrastructure, man power and a have influx of capital assets. The term 'large scale industries' is a generic one including various types of industries in its purview. All the heavy industries of India like the Iron and steel industry, textile industry, automobile manufacturing industry fall under the large scale industrial arena. However in recent years due to the IT boom and the huge amount of revenue generated by it the IT industry can also be included within the jurisdiction of the large scale industrial sector. Last but not the least the telecoms industry also forms and indispensable component of the large scale industrial sector of India. Indian economy is heavily dependent on these large industries for its economic growth, generation of foreign currency and for providing job opportunities to millions of Indians.
Because fossil fuels are dinosaurs that take millions and millions of years to form under extreme conditions. 1: no one has a million yrs to wait 2: There are no motr dinosaurs
One major problem is waste of resources. While economics of scale means that larger industrial operations can produce more goods, the increased difficulties of co-ordinating production and the centralization of authority (i.e. the oft complained about 'senseless mandates from upper management' of many industries) also results in larger scale waste. A bad butcher may make a few bad cuts, but one bad butchery machine can make thousands, if not millions, of them. In essence, this is a problem endemic of all large human organizations. A corporation is no different than a government, and as a large government becomes wasteful and inefficient, so too does a large corporation, and for similar reasons.

Rearmament during World War II significantly reduced unemployment as governments invested heavily in military production, creating millions of jobs in factories and related industries. This shift from civilian to military production mobilized the workforce, pulling many individuals out of unemployment. Additionally, rearmament stimulated economic activity, leading to increased demand for goods and services, further contributing to job creation. As a result, many countries experienced a dramatic decline in unemployment rates during this period.

the number 9,513,607,482 (with commas in place) has the number 3 in the millions place. So, every number above that is included. 9,513.61 millions...depending on how many decimal places you need to use. Or rounded to 9,514 millions.
An abundance of oil led millions of people to gas up their vehicles, resulting in increased consumption and demand for gasoline.
