it means that the price is consolidating, (market is ranging and not moving in any particular direction; as opposed to trending market)... u can reckoginze consolidation by price action analysis. if the price remains in range between recent swings lowest low (LL) and highest high (HH) is means its consolidated. to put simply, price is in cosolidation if id doesnt make new higher highs or new lower lows... :) hope it helps... prazi86
