Poverty plays a very big part in in contributing to the need of child labour , it can be seen very clearly in a poor country such as India where the number of children a couple have is more then they can feed , so they send the children to work and earn a living.
Families that are living in poverty are more like to have children engaged in child labor. Raising the standard of living of a community is important in the fight to end child labor.
