Interdependence in nature is illustrated by?

Interdependence in nature is illustrated by ecosystems. Living organisms rarely exist alone as illustrated by an ecosystem, in which everything is interconnected. The sun provides the light energy, which primary producers (plants, algae, and photosynthetic prokaryotes) use to synthesize sugars and other organic compounds. These sugars and organic compounds are then used as building material for growth and as fuel for cellular respiration. The organisms in the next trophic levels indirectly or directly depend on this photosynthetic output of the primary producers as this chemical energy is then consumed by primary consumers (herbivores), secondary consumers (carnivores), and tertiary consumers (carnivores that eat other carnivores). Many of these nutrient transfers through the trophic level lead to detritus, non living organic material, which provides energy for the detritivores (prokaryotes and fungi) who help to decompose this organic material in an ecosystem. The chemical elements are then transferred in inorganic forms to abiotic reservoirs such as soil, water, and air, which the primary producers recycle into organic compounds. These living organisms are so interconnected that there would be serious consequences for the ecosystem and the living organisms in it if even one trophic level were to be destroyed.

What is primary production?

Nikes primary product is the shoe

Why do organic products tend to be more expensive?

Organic products cost more because of 1. With natural things we can not produce more as per requirement( Demand and supply). 2. Research were taken to produce more with limited land available to developed countries. As a result we started produce more but at the same time our natural food products ( Vegitables) lost their original test and quality. Our land can not produce the good old days agricultural products. 3. To bring the situation back again researcher trying to produce organic products within natural environment. 4. Only limited quantity can be produce and sellers take the advantage of fixing high price. 5. New generation is crazy about organic product and thus fetches high profit to the sellers or producers in the name of organic product. 6. Actually we do not know whether the same land is capable of producing the good old days natural product!

What are the importance of ascomycetes?

In terms of ecological processes, ascomycetes are important as decomposers of organic material, symbiotes with trees, and a major source of nitrogen in certain ecosystems (as lichens). In industry, ascomycetes, the various yeasts, are what make bread rise and alcoholic beverages alcoholic. As well, several antibiotics are produced from ascomycetes. Many chemicals are massed produced by culturing the ascomycetes that product them naturally. There are some negative reasons why ascomycetes are important. Some, like Claviceps purpurea, are nasty plant pathogens that cost farmers money and raise food prices. Some, such as Candida albicans, are human pathogens.

Where can organic farming be used in the future?

Organic farming is a way of growing foods without the use of synthetic fertilizers and pesticides. It can be used anywhere a farmer wants to use it now and in the future. Organic farming is also GMO-free, but since GMOs are cross pollinating organic crops and more cross pollination is likely to occur in the future, it is possible that that all foods, including organic, will have GMOs in them in the future and truly organic foods that are free of GMOs will be lost.

Why cant the producers in some ecosystems make an unlimited supply of organic material?

One or more nutrients are in short supply.

What are producers that generate organic compounds from inorganic material?

Plants by photosynthesis reaction.

Do ecosystems flow from producers to consumers or consumers to producers?

Ecosystems flow from producers to consumers. Producers, such as plants, convert energy from the sun into organic compounds, which are then consumed by primary consumers (herbivores). This energy flow continues through the food chain to higher-level consumers.

Are Detritivores Producers?

No, detrivores are animals that eat the remains of organic material like a Vulture, producers make their own 'food' like plants. Hope this helped!

What material producers synthesize?

Producers synthesize organic material such as carbohydrates through photosynthesis, which involves converting sunlight, water, and carbon dioxide into energy-rich compounds. In addition, producers also synthesize proteins, lipids, and nucleic acids needed for growth and maintenance of their cells.

In what kind of ecosystems are microorganisms the most important producers?

In fresh water aquatic ecosystems unicellular, colonial and filamentous micro-organisms comprise the most important producers. A large number of fauna depend on these producer micro-organisms.

What is the decayed organic material in soil is?

Decayed organic material in soil is called humus. Humus is rich in nutrients and helps improve soil structure, water retention, and fertility. It is a key component of healthy soil ecosystems.

What are the 3 types of organisms in ecosystems?

The three types of organisms in ecosystems are producers (plants that make their own food), consumers (organisms that eat other organisms for energy), and decomposers (organisms that break down dead organic matter).

Material formed from decaying leaves and other organic matter?

The material formed from decaying leaves and organic matter is called humus. Humus is a dark, organic material that provides nutrients for plants and helps improve soil structure and fertility. It plays a crucial role in promoting healthy and productive ecosystems.

Are worms consumers?

Yes, worms are considered consumers because they obtain their nutrients by feeding on organic matter, such as decaying plant material or microorganisms present in the soil. They play an important role in breaking down organic matter and recycling nutrients in ecosystems.

How is primary productively related to biomass?

Producers store chemical energy in the biomass, also known as organic material, and the rate by which producers in an ecosystem build biomass is primary productivity. Both dealing with building biomass by the action caused by producers. Hope this helps (:

What is the mixture of weathered rock and organic matter?

The mixture of weathered rock and organic matter is called soil. Soil is formed through the breakdown of rocks and the decomposition of organic material, providing a medium for plant growth and supporting various ecosystems.
