God allowed Jesus to be born into poverty because he didn't want people to think that they needed to be rich in order to do great things and be called to do something that will change the world.

If you stop and think about it--ANY social standing that Jesus came into after leaving the splendor of heaven would be poverty to Him. The greatest palace in the world--then or now--compared to Heaven is just a pitiful shack. There is another reason, too. He was born among the poor in order to have access to the poor and so that the poor should have the Gospel preached to them. And *THIS* was important because "the Gospel being preached to the poor" was one sign (among several) to John the Baptist that Jesus WAS the Christ.

I believe that God wanted Jesus to be born into poverty because He came for everyone. He didn't just come to save the rich people: He came for the poor and the hurting. In order to live like these people did, He had to come into society as a regular human being and fulfill the prophecies written about His death and His life throughout The Bible. It says in the Bible that Jesus asks whether a doctor would come to heal the healthy, and then proceeds to explain that like a doctor, He came to heal the sick. He speaks specifically about orphans, widows, and foreigners and says to always be kind and love them.

In order to understand our pain and suffering he had to come as a baby into the world and live just like we do. If He had not been born into poverty He would have been a mighty king, and could have been for He was one, but as He said himself, He came unto the least of these, and called himself the King Of The Jews. That means He came to take the pain for all of our sins and all of our mistakes. You may think that Jesus just doesn't understand your pain, and that it he doesn't know what if feels like to have your parents divorce, or to have your dad move out, or to have alcoholic parents, or to have an abusive parent, or to be sexually abused, or to have a kid when your 15, or to not have parents at all, or to do drugs, or to be in depression, or to have a mother that brings men home at all hours of the night, or to have nobody like you at school. But Jesus knows the pain because when he died on the cross he felt the pain of your divorce, he felt the pain of your parents abuse, he felt the pain of your mistakes when you though you were in love, or when you killed your best friend driving drunk. It says in the Bible that He was so smothered in sin for just those final hours that His Father in heaven could not look upon Him, and He cried out to Him. Jesus knows your grief because he came for us all into a life of poverty in order to come to the common people. He came to save the sinners, and that's all of us, so He had to come into our world to be crowned King of the Jews.

Is education the ticket out of poverty?

How did poverty begin?

poverty is itself comparitive. All the animals/humans in a group living in a desert could be uniformly considered poor. but lets address here only relative poverty between individuals in a human group/settlement. Also poverty would be taken to mean material poverty, not those disadvantaged from accessing natural resources due to their position in the tribe heirarchy. Then, I think poverty started when private property started. When individuals began claiming their rights over certain things more than they could use then they are considered rich, due to the presence of such 'spare' resources. And those who are cut off from accessing those spare resources of the rich are considered poor. Legal rights Spare resources are guaranteed by the State. Hence poverty started with the constitution of a State

Are there people who are for the concept of poverty?

I think that anyone not willing to assist in the abolition of poverty are "for poverty". There are many people who canhelp and choose not to. It's the basic principle that if you're not part of the solution you are in fact part of the problem. The world's wealthiest 25 people have a net worth of $481 billion... There are roughly 6.6 billion people in the world. You tell me. Are there people who are not helping?

What is the relationship between poverty and population growth In your opinion does population growth contribute to poverty?

•Everywhere in the world, in every kind of culture, the poorest people have the most children. •Does having many children make people poor? Or does being poor make people have many children? •That is a hot question in the continuous struggle over how to spend foreign aid money. Those who think population growth causes poverty advocate programs in family planning and population education. Those who think poverty causes population growth favor direct economic aid, jobs, capital investment. Take care of development, they say, and the birth rate will take care of itself.

How does unequal distribution of income cause poverty?

It can be argued that income inequality is the same as poverty: Being poor and rich are relative terms, meaning "how much do you have compared to other people". In this definition, without income inequality there is no poverty. Even if everyone is living just marginally above starvation, as long as it is the same for everyone it would be described as "that's life" or similar, not as poverty. There are also arguments that income inequality is a major driving force for increasing the standard of living for everyone: Risk takers like people starting a business will only do this if they think they can make good money on it, and by doing so they supply jobs and increase productivity for the entire society. Although society will have poor people (by the mere fact that some of these businesses will succeed and their owners thereby get rich) even the poor will get a higher standard of living in absolute terms than what would otherwise be the case. I think there are merits to both views, but I don't have a final answer.

How do people feel about jesus in the modern era?

I think it is a mixture really! There are those who think Jesus was a fiction character just like Hollywood creation - therefore they think he did not exist for real! There are those who think Jesus was the Son of God - the only begotten Son, made not created like Adam was! There those who think Jesus is 'the Father' and also 'the Son' - this group quote John 10:30 "My Father and I are one"There are those who say Jesus is 'God the Father', 'God the Son' and 'God the Holy Ghost'.There are those who (like Jesus himself said) believes that Jesus was a Prophet sent by God:Now this is eternal life: that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent [John 17:3]

Who was the father of Jesus?

If you really think about it and look over the clues from the years, I think there is a good possibility that Jesus's Father could have very well been Zeus. The reason I say this is because in Greek mythology, Zeus was the ruler of all Gods, and Men!!!!! If you didn't know ( Jesus was a man). Who knows mabye Jesus was never Jewish after all.

How do you think jesus felt jesus felt betrayedby his followers and let down but that did not made him changed his miiind by dying on the cross for our sins he n.ade that promise to his father.?

It is my opinion that Jesus knew that we didn't understand that he was going to die for our salvation. So I think he could of stopped at any time and said oh it is just a joke I will stop now. On the cross he said Father forgive them for they know not what they do.
