Because the us is probably the most capitalistic country in the world with somuh anti-anti capitalism. In the end, if socialism ever does occur in large portions of the world, the US will probably be the last capitalist country, just as it was with racist slavery.

Is freedom of choice capitalism or socialism?

Under capitalism, most people have little freedom of choice, as they have to work for an employer. Socialism will provide much more freedom, without the coercion of the wages system.

What are capitalism and communism and socialism?

Capitalism is a free-market system with little or no government regulation. Communism is a system where the market and means of production are owned by the government. Socialism allows some regulation of the economy and is also the transition from capitalism to all out communism.

What is the next alternative for the world after capitalism fails?

Unfortunately, capitalism as currently practiced is little more than a combination of business socialism, national socialism with a little capitalism mixed in. We get more of what we're willing to pay for. When we pay for people to be indigent, helpless and ignorant, we will get more of that. When we pay for businesses to fail (corporate bail-outs) we'll get more of that too. It wasn't that many years ago that Chrysler Corp. received a large government bail-out. Now the company has been purchased by a German Conglomerate.

What are the similarities in Mercantilism--Laissez-Faire--Capitalism--Democratic Socialism--Socialism and Welfare Capitalism?

Mercantilism was in some sense an early form of capitalism, though there was considerable state control over foreign trade and there were usually, along with this, very high tariffs. Laissez-faire refers to more traditional ideas of how capitalism should operate, little to no state interference, no monopolies, etc. "Welfare capitalism" is a term that is sometimes used to refer to capitalist countries that have strong social welfare programs and do make some limited attempts to combat homelessness and extreme poverty. Examples of this today would be Sweden and Norway. What these all have in common is that they are all basically capitalist, laissez-faire and welfare capitalism are essentially the same economically for the most part but have some starkly different social policies. Mercantilism does not have a great deal in common with them. Democratic socialism is a term that can refer to two different things. It can sometimes be used as a synonym for social-democracy, or it can be used as a term to distinguish oneself from what people typically associate with what they think is communism. Socialism refers to any political and economic philosophy or system that is not capitalist and emphasises community control over politics and the social ownership of the means of production. There is no difference between this and the second description of what "democratic socialism" means. The first (synonym for social-democracy) description however, has little in common with socialism, it is essentially capitalist and has much in common with welfare capitalism.

Capitalism and socialism are two types of economic systems which are not compatible with each other give reasons if you opt for socialism economic system?

An economics professor at a local college made a statement that he had never failed a single student before, but had once failed an entire class. That class had insisted that socialism worked and that no one would be poor and no one would be rich, a great equalizer. The professor then said, "OK, we will have an experiment in this class on socialism". All grades would be averaged and everyone would receive the same grade so no one would fail and no one would receive an A. After the first test, the grades were averaged and everyone got a B.The students who studied hard were upset and the students who studied little were happy. As the second test rolled around, the students who studied little had studied even less and the ones who studied hard decided they wanted a free ride too so they studied little. The second test average was a D! No one was happy. When the 3rd test rolled around, the average was an F. The scores never increased as bickering, blame and name-calling all resulted in hard feelings and no one would study for the benefit of anyone else. All failed, to their great surprise, and the professor told them that socialism would also ultimately fail because when the reward is great, the effort to succeed is great but when government takes all the reward away, no one will try or want to succeed.

Why did Friedrich Nietzsche attack democracy and socialism in The Will to Power?

Nietzsche criticized democracy and socialism in "The Will to Power" due to his belief that they promote mediocrity and the equality of individuals, which he saw as antithetical to the development of a strong, creative, and noble human society. He argued that these systems could lead to the suppression of individuality and the dominance of a "herd mentality," which he viewed as detrimental to human flourishing.

What are the possible improvements with socialism?

Does the following make sense After a little way you collapse panting but not drawing in much breath despite?

Not really. It needs punctuation and some of the words seem to be in the wrong place. Maybe this would sound better:" After a little way, despite not drawing in much breath, you collapse, panting." OR "But despite not drawing in much breath, after a little way, panting, you collapse." Another variation: After a little way, you collapse panting but not drawing in much breath, despite the effort.

How can Senator Bernie Sanders be labeled as a democratic socialist when he has not advocated any industries in the US to be nationalized?

That's the difference between socialism and democratic socialism. Ever since Obama's election, the term "socialism" has been thrown around and used much too loosely, resulting in any kind of socialist policy to be labeled as socialism. Democratic socialism (even though Bernie is more of a social democrat) is a centrist idea with a small allowance of leftist policy, such as socialized health care and education. In short, democratic socialism is primarily capitalist with little snippets of socialist policy, and is entirely different from socialism.

How many Karl May books are there translated into English?

Karl May is a German writer, in fact, he is the best-selling German author of all times. Despite being German and never had visited many of the landscapes he described, a lot of his books have an American Old-Western setting. Despite his popularity in his native country and Europe, he is little known in the US. However, there are least two of his books that had been translated to English: 'Winnetou I' and 'Durch die Wüste'.

Can you sleep in Miss popularity?

When the little clock says 23:00, the screen goes black, and that is when you sleep. You cannot, however, sleep as an action in the PC game, Miss Popularity. If you want to rest, which is the little sun in the lower left corner, you can sit on the park bench and take a break, or go to your house and listen to music.
